2011 Summer Strength and Conditioning Program

All athletes entering grades 5 through 12 have an opportunity this summer to participate in the 2011 edition of Demon Pride. This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of lifting techniques in the weight room and progress into a more advanced strength cycle for the advanced high school athletes.

But this program is about far more than just strength training. Athletes will demonstrate improved cardiovascular fitness, flexibility training, core strength, agility, quickness, speed, and plyometric capabilities. Head football and track coach, Dave Foster, leads this program along with other DCHS coaches. The program is 6 weeks long with the specific dates and times listed in the brochure. To receive your 2011 Demon Pride t-shirt, registrations are due by June 1.

2011 Football Summer Calendar

Planning summer vacations and camps? Click here for a projected 2011 Dodge City Football Summer Calendar. Information will be updated as it is available, but the majority of the calendar is solid. Coach Foster will meet with the 2011 football team during OP sometime in May. At this time, all players will receive the calendar as well as enrollment information for camps and summer strength and conditioning programs.
